Bake Fluid Flush-Maintenance

Brake Fluid Flush: Brake fluid is a glycol base liquid that inherently attracts moisture. The fluid is rated by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and a typical passenger car rating is 3 or 4. This rating is based on the boiling point of the fluid. When using the brakes heat is generated in the brake fluid. If the fluid has no moisture present the fluid does not boil and you will stop normally. If the fluid is contaminated with water then it boils at a lower temperature introducing air and causing the brake pedal to fade, or feel spongy. Extreme contamination can cause enough fade that the vehicle is difficult to stop. Our brake fluid flush is a complete exchange of old fluid for new, either DOT 3 or DOT 4 brake fluid ratings.
