Fuel Injector
6. Fuel Injector Cleaning: After shutting off a warm engine the oil and fuel vapors in the cylinder and intake manifold lead to varnish deposits on the injector nozzles. The fuel in the supply line heated by the warm engine leads to deposits on the injector inlet screens. To ensure maximum efficiency these varnish and inlet screen deposits should be cleaned regularly. Our fuel injection cleaning uses an auxiliary pump and cleaning fluid mixture to first clean the inlet screens. Then the engine is run pushing the cleaner through the injectors cleaning the nozzles and the intake valves.
Recommended service interval: 24 MONTHS or 30,000 MILES.
