7. Fuel Filter Replacement: On today’s engines, fuel systems use a looped fuel supply system with a return line. These systems flow two gallons of fuel through the fuel filter for each gallon burned, leading to larger fuel filters. Their filtering capability is increased due to the requirements of the fuel injector. Restricted fuel filters will put additional stress on the fuel pump and lead to early pump failure. Regular filter replacement is important to maintain a healthy fuel system.  We replace used filters with quality OEM type filters.
